Chris Schroeder is the Senior Pastor at FCCN. He has served at FCCN since 2002 when he joined the church as the Youth Pastor. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in May 2000, with a bachelors degree in Philosophy and Theology. He was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene on May 10th, 2005 and shortly after he became the Senior Pastor at FCCN. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Ministry degree from Point Loma Nazarene University. He has served many years in youth ministry in various churches. His vision is to be used by God to pastor an influential holiness church that has a great impact on the community, country and the world.
Pastor Chris met his wife Yvonne while they were both attending PLNU. Yvonne works as a manager in the grocery business. They love watching movies, playing tennis, and attending Angels’ games together. The joy of their life is their daughter Brookelynn, who loves to play with her “Pollys” and sing “Jesus songs”. The Schroeder family loves serving the body of Christ at FCCN!
Scott Riemer, Assistant Pastor
When Pastor Scott first began attending Faith Community, he was running away from God. Today, he is running to Him. He knows first hand what a difference having a relationship with Jesus makes in the life of a person. God has now called him to serve by helping others come to know God also. Pastor Scott is currently a licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene, serving as the Assistant Pastor here at Faith Community. He hopes to meet the requirements to be ordained within the next couple of years.
He and his wife Krystal are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Holleigh. God has brought Pastor Scott a long way and he knows He is not finished. He believes that the church is a great place to share life's journey with others.

Peter Tavis, Worship Director
Peter Tavis joined the FCCN staff in January 2007. He has spent most of his life participating in worship in God's house, dating back to playing the guitar in a 1970's "Jesus movement" group called "Hidden Manna," part of Raul Ries' early ministry. In addition to directing our Sunday morning worship, Peter can be seen worshipping on various instruments including the violin, cello, flute, guitar and bass. His family is also actively involved in FCCN's worship ministry.
Peter lives in Chino Hills with his wife, Julia, and three children, Miriam, Marjorie and Montana. Each of them recognizes and is grateful for the Lord's hand in planting their family here at FCCN.
Marie Preston, Church Administrator
Marie keeps everyone at FCCN in line! Her favorite saying is "God loves you, and I have a plan for your life." She is gifted in organizational and administrative skills and has a talent for recognizing and utilizing the talent of others in God's house.
Katie Young, Administrative Assistant
Katie Young is the Children’s Music Director at FCCN. She directs choir for children ranging in age from kindergarten through 6th grade (Wednesday nights, 7-8:30pm). Each Summer she looks forward to seeing God work in the lives of children.

As a woman of God, Katie wants to live her life according to God’s purpose. She believes her mission is getting to know people on a personal level, building relationships, sharing Jesus with them and instilling hope. Her goal is to communicate like Christ and do it with enthusiasm!
Michele Nelson, Discovery Depot Director
Michele Nelson is very proud to be a part of the ministry of Discovery Depot, where she serves as the Director. Her desire is that the school would be a place where the message of hope, grace and unconditional love is received. When she accepted the position as the Director, she saw a strong need in our community for quality childcare that was more than just a service. Michele had a desire for both parents and employees to recognize the importance of community. It has become the mission of our school to build relationships, form partnerships and cultivate community. Under Michele's direction, FCCN strives to create an environment where parents and educators will partner together to successfully help children to become life-long learners with a deep dedication to Christ.
This ministry of Discovery Depot has become Michele's passion. Over 15 years ago she accepted Jesus through listening to the simple Bible teachings presented to the children here at the school. Today her life is changed because of the ministry of Discovery Depot. Michele is proud of to be a part of a church that recognizes God's life-changing power. God is doing incredible things in the lives of staff, parents, and children involved here at Discovery Depot and for those who are involved at the church. |
