Dear Church Family,

I hope everyone is doing well. It is such a joy and privilege to serve as the Senior Pastor at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene. I want to thank everyone for such amazing support of my family as we celebrated the birth of Nathan Paul Schroeder. He is definitely healthy and we feel blessed to be his parents. It is such a huge responsibility but we know we have a wonderful church family.

It has been such a joy to share my vision with the people of FCCN for the past few weeks. "Our vision at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene is to strive to live out our church name for the purpose of having a POSITIVE impact for Jesus Christ in the community, country, and world." I am encouraging everyone to walk on this "POSITIVE Path" - Passionate Spirituality, Open and Loving Relationships, Satisfying Evangelism, Inspiring Small Groups, Tactical Structures, Investing in Ministry, Vital Worship and Teaching, Empowering Leadership. I hope that you are beginning to hold this vision in your heart.

For the next several weeks beginning in May, I will be preaching a series titled, "Loving the Church While Loving Jesus". It has become popular among many people to say that they love Jesus and yet hate the church. This is not possible and today is not the time to give up on the church. Jesus is still interested in building His church. The amazing part is that Jesus wants to use you and me to do so. Jesus wants to build His church on people who confess that He is the Son of God. We must be willing to be used by Him.

We are looking forward to great days ahead at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene! God loves you and so do I.
